Angela McCall Hill began her teaching career in 2001 in a kindergarten classroom in the Chapel Hill- Carrboro City Schools System. Since that year, she has taught kindergarten and 3rd grade, served as an assistant principal, at the elementary and middle grade levels, and as a principal in Harnett County before serving as principal at The Capitol Encore Academy from July of 2015- June of 2019. Angela’s most recent position was Assistant Superintendent at The Capitol Encore Academy. Mrs. Hill was a North Carolina Teaching Fellow at East Carolina University as well as a North Carolina Principal Fellow at NC State University. She is the recipient of three 40 under 40 Awards given by Think Smart Outreach Center, Incorporated, The Fayetteville Observer, and East Carolina University’s Alumni Association. Hill is a proud member Delta Kappa Gamma Society (International Society for Key Women Educators) and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and when not completing graduate work in pursuit of her Doctoral in Educational Leadership from Fayetteville State University, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and reading.
