Kim Davis

 Kim Davis began her career in education as an elementary teacher in Clemson, SC after working in the Information Technology field. She earned her undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University, elementary education certification from Southern Wesleyan University, and master’s degree from East Carolina University in Instructional Technology.  Kim taught both elementary and middle school for Wake County Public Schools before serving teachers in her district as an Instructional Technology Facilitator.  She has presented at district, regional, and state technology education conferences and has been awarded grants to the schools she served in Wake County during her tenure. She was an active member of the mentoring program in her school district and is an alumnus of the NC Digital Leaders Coaching Network in collaboration with The Friday Institute.  Kim currently serves as the Lead Instructional Coach for the NC New Teacher Support Program, Western Carolina University Region, serving beginning teachers in grades K-12.
