Manda Stegall

Manda Stegall is an Instructional Coach with the North Carolina New Teacher Support Program at UNC Charlotte. Bringing over 20 years of instructional coaching experience, Manda’s coaching approach is rooted in authentic relationships, empathy, equity, and individualized support. She recognizes that each beginning teacher’s path is unique and tailors her coaching to meet their specific needs. Through a combination of reflective conversations, personal goal setting, and research-based instructional strategies Manda equips educators with the tools needed  to navigate the intricacies of the classroom. 

Manda has supported PreK – 12 teachers across all content areas, in a variety of public schools and districts in North Carolina. Through active collaboration, she creates a cohesive support system that nurtures the growth of new educators. Her current focus is partnering with new teachers to envision and achieve results that prioritize student success and teacher learning.

Manda currently holds NC teaching licenses in K-12 Reading, K-12 Learning Disabled, and K-12 Mentally Disabled. In addition to those licenses she is a trainer for Reading Research to Classroom Practice and Foundations of Math through the NC Department of Public Instruction. Manda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from UNC Charlotte and Master of Arts in Adult Education from East Carolina University. 

As well as supporting educators, Manda’s passions include reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and adult children.
