Sharonda R. Eggleton-McNeil is the proud graduate of the illustrious North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where she completed both her undergraduate and Master’s degree. She later completed her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Psychology from North Carolina State University. She began her teaching career in Guilford County where she has taught High School science, including Biology, Earth and Environmental, Human Anatomy and Physiology and Physics. Sharonda has served as an instructor at NC State University, Bennett College for Women, Guilford Technical Community College and Virginia College. It is her hope to give voice to the lived experiences through the African proverb of Ubuntu, “I am, because we are.”
