Wayne Williams, Instructional Coach
Originally from Endicott, New York, Wayne completed his BA in Mathematics at SUNY Geneseo. He taught mathematics and AIG pull-out classes from 1994 through 2008, before leaving to work as an Instructional Coach with the District and School Transformation Division of NCDPI. In 2012, he joined NCNTSP. His teaching and coaching experience include work with more than 20 districts in North Carolina, where he has worked with teachers in Pre-K through 12th grade. Currently pursuing a PhD at NC State University, Wayne derives great joy from working with teachers and their students to find ways to make classes engaging, productive, and most importantly, joyful.
