Faith Freeman, PhD

Dr. Faith Freeman currently serves as Director of Alternative Licensure Pathways and Spartan Education Scholars at UNC Greensboro. She most recently served as Co-Director of the Institute for Partnerships in Education and formerly served as Director of STEM and led the district-wide Tutoring Program for Guilford County Schools. Her career spans roles as an Academic Coach, Professional Development Associate Director, and high school Science Teacher. Dr. Freeman holds a B.A. in Chemistry with a minor in Biology, an M.Ed. in Science Education, and a Ph.D. in STEM Education—all from UNCG. She is deeply committed to equity in STEM education and ensuring that all students have access to high-quality instructional resources. Faith is also a proud wife and mother of two boys.
