Jenn Hatch Knight

Jenn Hatch Knight currently serves as the NC NTSP Regional Director and Professional Development System School-University Partnership Assistant Director in the Watson College of Education at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. In her role, she coordinates beginning teacher support for partnership districts, facilitates the National Board Support Network, acts as the edTPA student support coordinator for preservice teachers, and teaches in the Elementary Program. She is proud to be part of a nationally recognized School-University Partnership, which consists of 11 partnership districts, a university laboratory school, and two public charter schools. Prior to this role, she was an elementary teacher and instructional coach with the NC Department of Public Instruction. Jenn holds a master’s degree in Language and Literacy and is National Board Certified. She is the 2024 recipient of the National School University Partnership (NASUP) Exemplary PK20 Boundary Spanner award, which highlights the unique, mutually beneficial work she does in public PK-12 schools and higher education. Her research interests include developing wellness and resilience in K-12 teachers and students, beginning teacher preparation and retention, school-university partnerships and teacher leadership.
