Cameron Gupton

Cameron Gupton is an Instructional Coach for the New Teacher Support Program (NC NTSP) who supports students learning by providing personalized guidance, feedback, and resources to improve instructional practices. Cameron believes in the power of collaborative, learner-centered approaches, leveraging data-driven insights, and fostering a growth mindset to enhance learning and promote continuous improvement.

Cameron cultivates positive relationships with both teachers and administration across all grade levels. He provides personalized support, ongoing professional development, and valuable feedback to empower teachers in enhancing their instruction. Currently, he is working toward improving educational outcomes for students in Eastern North Carolina by supporting beginning teachers. 

Cameron is a National Board Certified Teacher and served as the 2018 Burroughs Wellcome Fund Southeast Regional Teacher of the Year. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary History Education and History and a Master of Arts in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from East Carolina University. 

When he is not coaching, Cameron enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, reading, and traveling.
