Heather House began her teaching career in 2005 as a middle school teacher at C.M. Eppes Middle School teaching 8th grade math. She remained at C.M. Eppes for 6 years until she was accepted into the Principal Fellows Program. She took an educational leave of absence for one year while participating in this program and then spent one year at South Central High School as a full time administrative intern. She accepted her first administrative position at HB Sugg/Sam D Bundy Elementary School as an Assistant Principal and then moved to GR Whitfield K-8 School for three more years. She has been an instructional coach with the ECU Region for three years!

2009 – Master’s Degree: Math Education- East Carolina University

2011 – Master’s Degree: School Administration- East Carolina University
